Makoto waited for the boy’s answer as he continued to steer the car on the road, he was debating on hitting the high way next but chose to do that once they decided on a destination. Makoto nodded, he was getting hungry himself, he barely ate when they left anyways “Sure, sounds good. I’m getting hungry anyways.” He smiled as he looked over to the blond and then back to the road again. He nodded to himself, cold noodles did sound really good right about now. It would be a perfect way to cool off even if they were going to be in the car most of the time as they were on the road. “Mkay~ Let’s see where we can find cold noodles.” He drove along the road til an exit sign passed by them notifying them that an exit off the road was nearby. Once the turn was in view, he turned on his right turn signal and turned onto the road that was going off into another direction. It curved down a small hill and they were now nearby a main road.

Makoto hummed lightly to himself from the music on the radio, he looked around at different restaurant names as he drove by at the speed limit, which was moderately slow. If it weren’t for his friend in the passenger seat, he wouldn’t have be able to experience this road trip at all. It was fun already even though they barely left the town not too long ago. “Oh, here we go… cold noodles!” He said as he drove the car slower as he seen a restaurant’s sign that advertised the noodles they were wanting. He turned the car slightly as he came to a stop and parked the car near the curb so that they could get out. He took the key out of the ignition and turned to Nagisa with a grin on his face. “We’re here!” Makoto then looked for passing cars so he could get out. Once it was clear, he got out and closed the car door. He walked over to the sidewalk and waited for Nagisa to get out.

Nagisa turned his head to look back at Makoto. His hands were on the wheel, and his eyes never left the road. He wondered how he could even drive. Nagisa would take that risk, except for the fact that he would probably be too reckless and crash his car within a week. Maybe a small yellow mo-ped would suit him better. Can’t go too fast, easy to control, something to keep Nagisa’s driving in check.

They continued driving, and Nagisa bobbed his head along to the music. Makoto could hold a tune well. Sadly, he couldn’t hold one as well as Makoto, but it didn’t stop him belting out his favourite songs on days. Makoto was going a little slower, making it easy to spot the names of the different restaurants. A quiet rumble erupted from Nagisa’s stomach, and he smiled.

His head perked up at the sound of cold noodles. “Ahhhh yea! Cold noodles!” Nagisa grabbed his little rockhopper penguin wallet which dangled around his neck, and his cellphone which he slotted back into his pocket. “Wah let’s go!” Hopping out of the car in his flip-flops, he shuts the door behind him and heads for the restaurant entrance. “Come on Mako-chan! I’m starving!”
